It’s a good thing you keep reminding us about feedback – it always manages to escape my memory. From the pictures so far, the Fendle warrior heart looks like it’s going to be truly amazing. I can’t wait to see (and buy) the finished piece!

Regarding processes, Holly mentioned chasing butterflies – which got me to thinking.
At the moment, my process seems more like that of an apprentice bricklayer trying to build a tower that will give him access to new heights, new worlds. At the end of some days, I sit back and think, wow, what a nice portion of wall I built. Other days, I’m not so happy. The bricks are lopsided and the lines are not straight, but, I’m only an apprentice, and even though my mentor is chasing butterflies, I still heed her instructions. I resist the urge to go back and tear that section down because the first priority is to finish the tower. I have faith that it will not topple over.
The point is: Holly is chasing butterflies because she already intristically knows how to put the bricks down in a straight line. Another article of faith: when the tower is finished, HTRYN will help me to bend the structure into shape and see the garden (and all the butterflies) inside.

I love reading people’s process too so when both my mom and my husband suggested I show a little behind-the-scenes it was like a slap on the forehead. This isn’t that detailed but then again I don’t want to bore the uninterested.
