I admit to not thinking of the facebook thing until it was posted here and then putting something on facebook, too. (I'm tempted to follow up with "but..." but I won't.) I agree that the readers-only method is more fair, and I hope all the people who came and voted via facebook took the time to read and will be joining us on Holly's writing adventure. Meanwhile, my promise to cry at you guys' funeral still holds. I don't think it was anyone's fault. More just an oversight. Besides, it's all a moot point now that it's being taken care of. I guess I misinterpreted what Holly said in the original post about 'encouraging your friends to vote'. None of that sounded like 'only people on the mailing list can vote' to me. If it's become a big problem I can pull my entry, I don't want to be the cause of drama.
