Becky and I are setting up a contest. The winner will:
- Be a character in the novel TalysMana.
- Have a TalysMana artifact created around his or her character.
- And receive a numbered, limited-edition artifact signed by both of us.
We’re still putting together the rules, and the sort of entries we want—because this is a book about the power and value of creativity, you’re going to have to be creative to win.
Contest details will be sent to everyone who’s signed up to read the TalysMana first draft. You have a few days to sign up before we have the rules finished and send them out.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I’m hoping for a text-based contest so that I can play too.
I know that some authors offer cameo appearances to their most active fans — counted by donations, number of comments, various ways. It’s a popular perk. Not sure I’ve seen this as a contest before; I’ll have to remember it.
